Licentiate Diploma in Teaching English to Speakers

The course is open to experienced teachers who have at least
two years of recent full-time appropriate experience of TESOL.
Applicants should also have a degree level qualification. The
course is also open to non-native speaker teachers with near
native speaker competence.
All eligible applicants will be invited to interview, either
face-to-face or by phone. Candidates will be expected to be
fully informed of the details of the LTCL Diploma new syllabus
when they come for their interview. This is available from Trinity
College, London.
Because of the distance nature of the course teachers are invited
to apply from anywhere in the world as long as they have easy
access to a computer with CD ROM and to the Internet. There
will be a summer intensive in the UK.
Candidates will study for Parts 1 and 3 and prepare their Part
2 Portfolio during the distance learning phase. During the intensive
they will prepare for the practical Part 4 examination as well
as receive intensive preparation for the parts of the assessment. |
