Schools
At present we have two schools in Ho Chi Minh City
catering for nearly 400 students. Language schools
in Vietnam tend to be larger than ones elsewhere
in Asia, and both of our branches have up to seven
classrooms, many of which have computer or DVD facilities.
The larger school, in District 10 (to the west of
the city) has a cafeteria for staff and students
offering a choice of Western and Vietnamese fare,
as well as a play area for young learners.
Career Development
The training and development of our employees is
of paramount importance at all Saxoncourt / Shane
schools. This is no different in Vietnam, where
newly-arriving teachers will attend a week-long
Teaching English to Young Learners course. Then
throughout their time in Vietnam, the teachers will
have frequent opportunity to develop their skills
and knowledge through regular workshops and observations. |
