| Shane Teachers are paid very
well compared to local salaries. A typical teacher’s
salary is about twice a good Chinese graduate
salary. Eating, drinking and shopping the Chinese
way will mean your salary goes a long way. Western
brands, restaurants, pubs and clubs are affordable
as a treat, but can be quite expensive.
The Chinese currency is the Chinese Yuan Renminbi
(CNY or Rmb).
