
CELTA Full Time Course
The course itself involves 120 contact hours and includes a minimum of 6 hours observed teaching practice with English language students. The input sessions concentrate mainly on language analysis and classroom methodology.
Input sessions include the following:
- The principles of student-centred learning
- Developing students’ language skills
- Analysis of language
- Clarifying and checking students’; understanding of language
- Lesson planning
- Classroom management
- Professional development
- Daily contact hours will normally span some 7 to 8 hours (from 09.30 to 17.00 hrs) with teaching preparation and written work in addition.
Successful candidates will receive the UCLES Certificate in English Language Teaching to Adults, CELTA.
Course length: 4 weeks
On successful completion of an interview you will need to pay a £200 deposit to secure your place on the course of your choice. You will then need to pay the remaining balance before the course start date. Unfortunately, we are unable to accept payment in instalments.
Kindly note that we are unable to refund either deposit or full fees, or defer trainees to other courses, once a place on a course has been secured.
