History
Saxoncourt Recruitment was established in 1989 as a specialist English as a Foreign Language (EFL) recruitment agency.

Set up to provide teachers for Shane English Schools Japan, Saxoncourt has since grown to provide recruitment services to Shane English Schools (SES) in other countries (as SES has expanded) as well as acting as a recruitment consultancy for other schools throughout the world.

Since its foundation Saxoncourt has established a reputation for providing a friendly, professional service. Through Saxoncourt, teachers are able to find rewarding, secure jobs while employers can source reliable, good calibre, qualified teachers.

Saxoncourt Teacher Training department also offers various courses to prepare people for teaching EFL/ESL worldwide.

Saxoncourt Teacher Training runs courses in teaching English as a foreign language which are validated by the University of Cambridge English for Speakers of Other Languages (ESOL) Examinations, and which cater for teachers at all stages of their career

Saxoncourt Publishing/ELT is a specialist EFL publishing company which produces the unique STYLE examinations for children and publishes a wide range of books and class room materials, also aimed at the younger learners' sector.

Shane English Schools, now the largest British owned EFL group in Japan, were established in 1977 in the Kanto region and now have over 200 schools in Japan alone, as well as schools in Taiwan, China, and Vietnam. In Asia the schools have a reputation for being market leaders in teaching children and young learners while the London School is accredited by the British Council and a member of ARELS.

Shane Global Language Centres are established in English-speaking countries: UK, South Africa and New Zealand.

Another major part of the Group are Target & Shane English Schools of Poland. Offering high quality courses to the business sector in Poland, Target have built their success by providing a flexible approach and courses designed to meet clients' needs.

 Opportunities
With positions in Japan, Taiwan, China, Thailand, Poland, Russia, Italy, Spain and Peru to name but a few, Saxoncourt can guarantee an exciting opportunity abroad to suit almost anyone, whether they are just starting out or are looking for more senior positions.

Contracts are from 9-12 months full-time and feature various opportunities to teach children, adults, general or business English, or a bit of everything depending on your preferred destination. Most positions include assistance with visa applications and accommodation, flight reimbursement and an excellent local salary, not to mention the fantastic experience of living and working in a country - rather than passing through as a tourist.

Teaching placements provide skills development in a number of areas including presentation, organisation, time keeping and supervision - when you can teach a group of Japanese six year-olds to sing head, shoulders knees and toes, NOTHING will phase you.

 Free EFL Training & Support
Alhough most schools still require a full CELTA or Trinity TESOL certificate, selected positions - at the moment for those in Asia (Japan, Taiwan and China) - provide FREE TEFL training for graduates who wish to teach in these countries.
